Why We Disconnect

When life becomes a blur of doing, fixing, proving, and surviving, we often leave our bodies behind. We numb. We hustle. We dissociate, not because we’re broken, but because it’s how we’ve learned to cope. Some signs of body disconnection: Eating without pleasure or awareness Ignoring exhaustion until it turns into burnout Feeling out of sync with hunger, rest, or emotional cues Resenting your body for not “bouncing back” or doing more This is not your fault. It’s what happens when the world teaches women to perform instead of be.
